After nearly 15 years in people, culture, and talent strategy, I founded Benford Talent Alchemy — a neurodivergent- and women-owned consultancy at the intersection of coaching, storytelling, and transformation.
​
My background spans HR, employer branding, early-career programs, and strategic communications — but my real passion lies in reimagining how we work, lead, and connect. Whether I’m coaching a career pivot, building an authentic culture strategy, or writing for my Substack The Divergent Talent Alchemist, my goal is simple: help people thrive without losing their humanity.
Work is what I do — but helping people come home to themselves is who I am.

When I’m not geeking out about all things work and creativity, you’ll find me in North Carolina — usually surrounded by my mini farm of dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and ducks (and occasionally, coffee and chaos). It’s my favorite kind of therapy — equal parts grounding, humbling, and hilarious.
​
Before this chapter, I was a Division I soccer player at NJIT — that competitive spirit and team mindset still fuel everything I do. Today, I channel that same energy into helping people rediscover their purpose, navigate change with courage, and create careers and lives that feel aligned.
​
I’m also an author and storyteller — currently writing Alchemy Soup, my memoir-in-ladles (not chapters), exploring neurodivergence, identity, and the art of transformation.
​
Whether through coaching, writing, or simply living life on the farm, my mission stays the same: to help people embrace their differences, find their rhythm, and design a life that finally fits.

I’ve led engagement initiatives, culture transformations, and leadership coaching programs — all rooted in one belief: when people thrive, performance follows.
As a strategist and storyteller, I blend data with humanity to design workplaces where authenticity isn’t just welcomed — it’s the competitive advantage. My approach bridges creativity and analytics, helping organizations (and the humans inside them) align purpose with progress.

Lifelong Learning
I’ve always believed learning doesn’t stop with a degree — it expands with experience, curiosity, and the willingness to evolve.
My formal background is in Human Resource Management (MSc, Brunel University London) and Communications and Media (BSc, NJIT). I also hold certifications in Executive Presence & Influence from Wharton and Senior HR Leadership (SHRM-SCP) — but the truth is, most of my growth has come from lived experience.

From building HR teams from scratch to writing, coaching, and running a neurodivergent-owned business, my education has become a practice of continuous experimentation — blending science, storytelling, and self-discovery.
Because in the end, transformation isn’t taught — it’s lived.
